Composed by Edmund Weld, formerly of Harvard College, who moving hence into Ireland, became a preacher of the Gospel at Inniskean, there; who upon the meditation and apprehension of his own death (which was soon after the second day of March, 1668) made this following poem, which was sent hither in a letter from his wife, there living, to his relations here.
